We have a new addition at OneRiot, and he’s tall, dark, and speaks with an Italian accent.
This sort of makes it sound like we hire based on looks– which would be entirely unprofessional, unconstitutional and put us right up there with Abercrombie and Fitch (glorious)– but the fact that Alessio Signorini is a dreamboat has very little to do with why we actually hired him. In truth, Signorini has a rather extensive history in search, and we snapped him up from his position as Director of Technology at Ask.com to play a key role in enhancing the freshness and relvance of our own search results.
In short, he’s helping to make our pulse pulsier, and he’s already kicking lots and lots of ass doing it. Welcome aboard, Alessio; we love seeing your face around the office. I mean, we really love it.
