Strange things are afoot in Valusia County, Florida. On Thursday, January 15th, Orlando police detained 19-year-old Zachary Moir for assaulting his mother…with a taco.
Sources say the aforementioned situation came to fruition when mother Dena Moir requested that Zachary come to the table for dinner and he refused. According to Dena, the boy adamantly rejected her requests to stop playing his Xbox and began to argue with her. After much debate, Dena pulled the plug on Zachary’s Microsoft-branded gaming system. Though the two never did see eye to eye, Zachary did in fact join his mother in the kitchen - but the mayhem was only beginning. As Dena slaved over a hot skillet of ground beef, Zach attacked. A distressed Dena suddenly found herself covered in fixins, and called the police.
Kids these days; all that poor woman ever did was love her son. Still, we have to imagine that someone quoted as saying “I’ve been having trouble with him for awhile won’t work, wont’ [sic] go to school. He’s being rude and disrespectful. Pushing things to the limit as far as the violence” might’ve taken some more drastic measures before the child became an adult. That’s just us, though.
