A new interview of Chris Brown will air on Larry King Live later this week, and it really brings to light some of the things people have wanted to know about the musician. Like, for example, how he doesn’t remember the time he beat up his girlfriend Rihanna to within inches of death. Or how—probably because he doesn’t remember beating her—he still loves her. We don’t support Chris Brown because we saw Rihanna’s mangled face, but we do think it’s important to give everyone, even bad guys, a second chance.
Of course, it is a little strange that Brown does not remember punching, choking and strangling his more successful ex, considering he already pleaded guilty to doing so. And it’s also strange that reports of previous abuse in the pair’s relationship weren’t counted as “a first chance.” Supposedly if you don’t get caught, it’s like it never happened. That makes sense.
The Chris Brown interview was terrible, he was not remorseful, was not believable and he was down right embarrassing. His mom and his lawyer were basically telling him what to say. He should have spoken up sooner and should be in jail for assault. I will not support him but do hope he gets some help for his anger , we do not want to see another OJ.
