A Pennsylvania woman was busted this week for trying to sell ‘gothic kittens’ on ebay. Unique offerings other than the gothic theme include GI Joe kittens, kittens with hats, kittens with mittens, and custom fur trimmings.
The otherwise garden variety cats were modified with ear, neck and tail piercings. “The tails were definitely the hardest to do, but I wanted to make them look as gothic as possible. Y’know, so the kids would want to buy them,” said the accused Ross Township woman, who runs an alternative pet grooming business out of her basement. “You want me to shave your name into the cat? I’ll do it. I’ll do whatever to a cat.”
The yet unnamed woman hopes to earn publicity from the somewhat publicized news, which she predicts will help her increase business. She added, “People love their cats and they want to make them look cool. I hate cats, personally.”
